ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

Whether it is anxiety, depression, difficulty adjusting to changes, or trauma; sometimes life can feel like you have been thrown into a blazing, hot fire! It can be excruciatingly painful; as if everything is going wrong and every time you climb your way out, life sucker punches you and knocks you back down into the flames. It can make you feel hopeless, as if nothing will ever get better and as if there will be nothing left of you once the heat finally subsides. Once the fire is out; it can be even more overwhelming to navigate the new landscape that is now your life, much less find a sense of balance and harmony. 

When I was a young child I use to sit in the garage with my dad and watch him work with these rusted out, pieces of junk, hunks of metal that he had “rescued” from sitting in some farmer’s field for 50 years. He would weld metal together under a white-hot torch, bang it with a hammer, bondo and sand…days, weeks, months would go by of him beating, molding, and putting this bucket of rust under a flame. Then one day I’d go out into the garage and there would be the most beautiful, shiny, freshly painted car! When he would first bring home the rusted shell, I didn’t have the imagination or creativity, nor the faith, that it would ever be more than just a rusted hunk of corroded metal. It always amazed me how he could take something so useless and broken and turn it into a literal piece of art!

As someone who has survived the infernos of life, I learned that the fire can either burn you up and destroy you or like the cars my dad use to make, it can forge you into something magnificent and strong. While the fires of life can feel like it is going to obliterate you, sometimes the flame can shape our lives into something beyond what we originally had planned. 

I’m here to walk with you through the fire and assist you in picking up what looks like nothing but ashes; to help you reclaim hope, to heal from trauma, to grow stronger than you might have thought possible and to find joy again!
